Twenty Four Hour Comic This was a 24 hour event. In which each artist must start with no pre conceived ideas, and create a twenty four page comic book before one full day is completed. Its a marathon of creativity.

The day started with Gordon Yates and myself. We immediately agreed robots would be a fun theme. I knew right away a ghost robot was where the money was, visually at least. Phil Whipps, Kenzie and Adam Hafermann arrived shortly after. We ate subs (see picture one).
My twenty four page comic can be viewed above. In its full form, despite some censorship to make it web friendly. In this picture you can see Gordon's evolving robot comic. At this point (hour twelve), both our comics were behind schedule, but looking nice. By this time also we were the only ones still working towards the ultimate goal of 24 pages.
Pat arrived to create a mini version. Phil had finished his partial, "Ornamental Pleasure" complete with advertisement for Big Red the soda. Pat Reese drew a six page comic which in the end pretty much just made fun of me. It is a hilarious read, however about a television saving babies.
Then Gordon who was struggling with the idea of sleep. Stood in the snow for temperature motivation. Stood there for two full minutes. I lost the four dollar bet. I did keep my feet warm. We were behind schedule and looking for any kind of motivation. Kenzie at this point was reading the novel I wrote, all 144 pages of it.
As the last surreal six hours passed. We caught up. Gordon did a series of very quick pin ups to finish ahead of schedule. I buckled down and finished my twenty fourth page with even a few minutes to spare. Completing my third twenty four hour comic. This is my favorite result. Hope you enjoy it.
